Kultur Shock was born a long, long time ago. The ones we remember and don't remember any more gave it life. They were living creatures, humans, but also there were some higher powers that created KS.
KS is not just a band (a group of people just playing music). KS is an organism and has a life of it's own. KS would have been long gone if it was just up to us, humans and if there were no miracles created by those higher powers (1997, 2003, 2009). Now, we live on this planet.
We, the people in the band, are the organs of the organism. None of us is KS. KS is immortal - we are not! Although it is uneasy to accept that this planet will live long, long after we are gone, the fact of our mortality doesn't necessarily have to upset us. KS organism would not be the same without the influence of every and each one of us. We influence how KS sounds, looks, change throughout the history. Therefore - we make history, present and future, KS is the history, the present and the future. Higher Powers
Our People Our People is the closest thing possible to KS's purpose of existence. We say closest because KS is it's own purpose for existence. Our People falls into category of creators of KS. They are one of those higher powers we mentioned in the previous chapter. Our People are equally important as us; current and ex- members, for the survival and life of KS. With such of high powers they decide on the destiny of us, KS humans. We got lucky. They are smart people. They care about art- many of them are artists themselves. They deeply care about social justice and human rights. Yet they are, regardless of their age (if they 6 or 666 years old) fun-loving punks. That is why we call them OUR PEOPLE (not an audience or even worse - fans). It is an honor to play for them and as long as they are there, we have no right to stop. Other Higher Powers We don't have enough informations to share, but shit happens
KS Humans KS Humans are divided in two groups (and one reason for not having third group)
1. Current Humans 2. Extended KS Family (Former or Ex Current Humans). 3. The reason we don't have a third group of humans, (that would naturally be Future Humans) is that we don't have super powers (we are only humans after all) so we don't know who will be a next human serving KS
Current Humans Are further devided on:
KS Humans On Stage (in a primitive material world also called BAND, or simply Kultur Shock) The most imperfect and unpredictable part of KS. The part that benefits the most, but yet sometimes takes it all for granted, acting like they are owed all this privileges. Still for most of the time hard working group of organs of KS organism.
Gino Yevdjevich Val Kiossovski Chris Stromquist Matty Noble Guy Davis Paris Hurley Amy Denio
KS Humans Off Stage The hardest working and least apreciated part of the organism, held by the same expectations as the previous group, but getting no or significatly less recognition and attention: Sasho Kotnik Sabine Waltz Stanislav Czwik Krk Nordenstrom Bruce Tom Nenad Stefanovic Ella Cakmak Billy Gould
Extended KS Family Since 1996 KS has been impowered with some great humans. Every and each one of them changed and improved KS. They will always be our family. Once you're in you're always in:
Nedim H. Hamzic Amir Beso Lazy Borislav Iochev Mario Butkovich Masa Kobayashi Brad Houser Johny Morovich Jessica Lurie Josh Stewart Ambrose Nortness Andy Zadrozny Lucas Chidle Peter Lipman Dzibo Halilovic Tom Jovanovic (more coming)
